This Privacy Policy explains how Zenvy ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Zenvy mobile application ("App"). The app is available on Google Play Store.

Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy describes the types of information we collect and how we use, disclose, and safeguard it when you use the App. Zenvy is an AI-powered palm reading application that uses your device camera to capture palm images for analysis.

1) Information We Collect

  • Camera Access: We request camera permission to allow you to capture images of your palms. This is essential for the core palm reading functionality of the app.
  • Palm Images: When you take a photo of your palm for analysis, the image is temporarily uploaded to our secure servers and processed through OpenAI's API for AI-powered palm reading analysis.
  • Device information: Model, OS version, app version, crash/error data.
  • Usage analytics: Screens viewed, feature usage, and interaction patterns. Collected via Firebase Analytics (if implemented).
  • Ads data: Ad impressions, clicks, and device identifiers used by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show and measure ads.
  • Local Storage Data: Profile names (first names only), dates of birth, preferred hand (left or right), palm reading history, conversation exchanges, and reading credits are stored locally on your device.

We do not collect account names, email addresses, or other contact details unless you contact us directly.

2) How We Use Information

  • Palm Analysis: Images are sent to OpenAI's API for AI-powered palm reading analysis and personalized insights.
  • Provide core features: Palm reading, AI conversation, profile management, and credit tracking.
  • Improve accuracy and reliability: Fix crashes, measure feature usage, and enhance the AI analysis quality.
  • Show ads: Display non-personalized or contextual ads (where available) and manage rewarded ads for earning credits.
  • Prevent misuse: Track usage to prevent abuse of the credit system.

3) How Palm Images and Camera Access Are Handled

  • Camera Permission: Camera access is required to capture palm images. You can revoke camera permissions at any time through your device settings, though this will limit the app's core functionality.
  • Image Processing: Palm images are sent securely over HTTPS to our server-side function and then to OpenAI's API for analysis.
  • No Permanent Storage: We do not retain or permanently store palm images on our servers after processing is complete. Images are processed in real-time and discarded immediately after analysis.
  • Local History: Reading results (text-based insights and conversation history) may be cached on your device to display history. Uninstalling the App removes all local data.
  • No User Profiling: We do not build user profiles from image content or use images for any purpose other than providing palm reading analysis.

4) Third-Party Services

These providers may process data on servers outside your country.

5) Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with:

  • Service providers: Analytics, ads, AI model processing (OpenAI) strictly to operate and improve the App.
  • Authorities: When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.

6) Data Retention

  • Palm Images: Processed transiently in real-time and not stored by us after analysis. Images are immediately discarded after the AI generates results.
  • Local Data: Profile information, reading history, and credits remain on your device until you delete profiles or uninstall the app.
  • Analytics/Ads Data: Event data is retained by providers (AdMob, Firebase) per their policies.

7) Your Choices and Rights

  • Camera Access: You can revoke camera permissions at any time through your device settings. Note that this will prevent you from capturing new palm images for analysis.
  • Analytics: You can limit ad tracking and analytics in your device settings (OS privacy settings).
  • Ads: Rewarded ads are optional but may be required to earn credits and unlock additional readings when free credits run out.
  • Delete Profile Data: You can delete any profile and its associated reading history at any time from within the app.
  • Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all local app data from your device. You can request deletion of server logs that may be reasonably linked to you by contacting us (include device ID if available).

8) Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent age of consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us immediately to remove it.

9) Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information:

  • Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between the app and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
  • Secure local storage: Profile data is stored using Android's secure storage mechanisms (SharedPreferences).
  • Restricted access: Access to server-side processing is restricted and monitored.
  • No permanent image storage: Images are not saved on our servers, reducing the risk of unauthorized access.

While no method is 100% secure, we strive to protect your data using reasonable security measures.

10) International Transfers

Your information may be processed on servers outside your country (including OpenAI's servers for AI processing). By using the App, you consent to such transfers subject to applicable law. We ensure that service providers comply with applicable data protection regulations.

11) Google Play Compliance

This privacy policy complies with Google Play's data safety requirements. We disclose:

  • Camera permission usage (required for palm image capture)
  • Data types collected (device info, usage data, images)
  • How data is used (palm analysis, ads, app functionality)
  • Third-party service providers (OpenAI, AdMob)
